Welded mesh sofa bed bases
A concealed mechanism turns the sofa into a comfortable bed in one simple, effortless movement.
Our models are fitted with high-quality, latest-generation sofa bed bases made in Italy, giving you both a beautiful sofa and an excellent bed.
The seat and back cushions are securely attached to the metal frame, so there is no need to remove them when opening the bed.
Sofa bed frame and cushioning
Every component attached to the bed mechanism is made from poplar plywood and solid fir for lasting strength. Galvanised iron bayonet fittings make assembly simple and hold the components securely in place.
We use foam cushioning in different densities:
- Seat: 32 Kg per cubic metre
- Backrest: 28 Kg per cubic metre
Sofa bed mattresses
Our standard sofa bed mattresses use polyurethane foam with a density of 25 Kg per cubic metre. Their thickness varies by model; the Supremo sofa bed, for example, has an 18 cm mattress.
The foam cores are covered in quilted hypoallergenic fabric to improve breathability and keep the entire mattress dry.
Sofa bed upholstery
Our sofa bed collection includes models available in leather or fabric, as well as models offered only in leather because their covers are not removable.
Choose from a wide range of colours and materials, from genuine leather to cotton fabrics. If you want a pattern not shown on our website, contact us: we will find the covering you need through our suppliers.
Genuine leather upholstery
Fine cowhide combines comfort, elegance and softness. Durability is equally essential, especially on a sofa bed.

Double and single sofa bed sizes
The standard widths of the bed mechanisms and mattresses are:
- 160 and 140 cm – double sofa beds
- 120, 100 cm – single sofa beds
- 75 cm – chair beds
Some leather models also use intermediate bed base sizes that differ by a few centimetres.
A larger bed means a larger sofa, so consider both the overall sofa dimensions and the sleeping space you need before choosing your size.
We also accept requests for a made-to-measure sofa bed (for example, narrower or wider arms), provided the standard bed mechanism dimensions are retained: the mechanisms cannot be made to measure.
