Boss introduces chrome into the executive-chair range through a five-point base. The reflective metal gives the chair a more contemporary appearance than the wooden-base models, while the upholstered upper section retains a substantial padded form.

Design, proportions and details
The listed chair is 61 cm wide, 71 cm deep and 100 cm high. Compare the arm clearance and seat position with the desk, allowing enough room for the base and chair movement beneath and behind the work surface.

Gas-lift height adjustment and a tilt mechanism are specified. These functions should be evaluated separately from the covering: they determine the available position changes, while the upholstery and padding provide the contact surfaces.
Boss’s chrome five-point base gives the chair a different supporting layout from a classic wooden-base model. Check the available space beneath the desk for the base as well as the upholstered seat, and allow room behind it to move back without meeting another piece of furniture.
The gas lift and tilt are separate controls. Raising the chair also changes armrest clearance beneath the work surface, so compare the useful range rather than checking a single overall height. The covering colour can then be chosen around a configuration that already suits the workstation.
