Privilege Jacquard Upholstery Fabric – CAT. C

Privilege combines five fibres in a jacquard upholstery fabric, bringing woven pattern and mixed textile character to sofas, armchairs and upholstered beds.

Privilege is a jacquard fabric blending cotton, viscose, acrylic, linen and polyester. The woven design makes pattern scale and colour combination important parts of choosing it for a particular piece of furniture.

Surface, colour and suitability

The largest components are 41% cotton and 33% viscose, with the remaining fibres listed in the specification. Composition helps identify the article but does not replace its care instructions or establish a universal performance rating.

Compare the motif with the size of the upholstered areas. A broad headboard can show the pattern differently from a small chair back, and deep buttoning may interrupt the repeat in ways worth discussing before production.

Privilege’s mix of fibres does not by itself establish whether a particular finished cover can be washed. The upholstery construction and supplied care instructions remain relevant. Keep the jacquard article and chosen colour code together, and ask about motif placement where the fabric crosses a large cushion seam or a shaped headboard.
