Examine a sample from several angles and in the room’s lighting. Pile direction influences how the colour is perceived, particularly where the material is folded into buttoning or placed across adjacent upholstered panels.
The textile composition does not establish the care method for every finished cover. Check whether the selected model has removable upholstery and use the instructions supplied for the actual article and construction.
Polyester velvet and cotton velvet are different articles, even when a sample suggests a similar colour or sheen. Do not transfer an abrasion result or care instruction from one to the other.
