Internal frame
A strong frame is essential for furniture that keeps its shape over time.
We make our frames from poplar plywood and solid fir: two materials that combine flexibility and strength for a long-lasting sofa.
WE DO NOT USE LOW-QUALITY WOOD or composite wood products such as chipboard, MDF (Medium Density) or similar materials. The quality of a sofa starts on the inside.
Cushioning and suspension
A sofa should be comfortable. That is why we use high-quality foam (polyurethane foam) that maintains its support over time.
Years of development, informed by our customers’ feedback, have led us to use two standard densities for optimal comfort:
- Seat: 32 kg per cubic metre
- Backrest: 22 kg per cubic metre
On request, you can choose a soft seat (density 30), a firm seat (density 35) or a memory foam top layer for a more enveloping feel.
The seats are supported by a closely interwoven network of high-strength elastic webbing for lasting comfort.
Upholstery options
The upholstery deserves the same care and quality as the frame.
After you place your order, we will contact you to confirm the exact colour. If you are unsure about the shade, we can send upholstery samples by post to help you choose.
Genuine leather
We select the finest European cowhides for our sofas. Comfort, elegance and softness are the three essential qualities of fine leather.
Choose from the following leather types:
- Grain leather
- Thick grain leather
- Full-grain leather
- Aged-effect leather
- Hand-patinated leather
On request, we can add decorative heavy-thread stitching to the leather, in a matching or contrasting colour.
Fabrics
Our website features the plain fabrics most popular with our customers. If you would like a particular pattern, design or colour, tell us what you have in mind and we will find the fabric you are looking for.

As well as the options described above, you can adjust the sofa’s dimensions to fit your room perfectly, or add an occasional-use sofa bed mechanism with a 7 cm mattress for overnight guests.
