Bed base construction
All our frames are made from carefully selected, high-quality woods for lasting strength. The interiors are finished with furniture-quality paint to make cleaning easier.
Without storage
The bed base is made entirely from 2 cm thick fir boards. The bed frame is 24 cm high, excluding the feet.
With storage
The entire frame is made from 2 cm thick poplar plywood to support even heavy loads with ease.
The standard storage bed frame is 30 cm high, excluding the feet, with 24 cm of usable storage height.

Slatted bed base
The frame is made from 40 x 38 mm tubular ironand has no welded joints. It features safety corners made from high-strength nylon and fibreglass, with an epoxy powder coating for full corrosion protection.
The slats are made from 7 cm wide beech strips held in special polyethylene fittings. This plastic material prevents friction between the slats and frame from causing squeaks.

Storage bed opening mechanisms
All our mechanisms are made from galvanised iron to protect them from rust caused by seasonal changes in humidity.
Choose from 3 types of storage bed lift mechanism:
- Standard opening: the slatted base lifts from the foot of the bed.
- Side opening: the slatted base lifts from its long side, on the right or left.
- Dual lift with horizontal raised position: combines standard opening with a horizontal position raised above the bed frame, making the bed easier to make and reducing strain on your back.
The bed opens with gas struts Made in Germany, a mark of reliability and durability.
Bed frame padding
The outside of the wooden frame is padded with foam and finished with synthetic velour. Choose from two padding styles, which differ in appearance and affect the overall dimensions of your bed.
To calculate the overall bed dimensions , add the extra width and length of your chosen padding and the headboard thickness to the slatted base dimensions.
- Flat padding: +8 cm
- Rounded padding: +12 cm

Bed feet
Our beds come as standard with 6 cm high wooden bun feet. To choose a different style, select “Custom feet”.
This option gives you a choice of shapes and heights in steel or turned wood, as well as castors with brakes.
Once you have placed your order, we will contact you to confirm the foot model you would like for your bed.
Upholstery options
All our upholstered beds can be customised with your choice of covering and colour.
Choose from the following materials:
