The two sides need to be planned against the actual walls of the room. Check the highest and widest parts of each heart, and allow access to the open edges rather than placing the bed from mattress dimensions alone.
The base specification determines what sits beneath the sleeping area. If a compatible storage version is selected, its opening direction and clearance need to suit the corner layout rather than being chosen independently of it.
Both heart-shaped sides need to remain clear of wall fittings and nearby furniture.
