Da Vinci combines a large square footprint with a deliberately low profile. The hand-buttoned upholstery spreads across the top and sides, making it suitable as the central upholstered element within a spacious seating arrangement.
Design, proportions and details
The standard dimensions are 115 x 115 cm, with a height of 35 cm. Check the passages around all four sides before positioning it between sofas, and compare the low top with the seat cushions if you intend to use it as a footrest.
Its decorative surface is shaped by padding and buttoning rather than a rigid tabletop. This produces the Chesterfield texture across a wider area, while the lower height changes its visual weight compared with a taller storage ottoman.
The low 35 cm top is part of Da Vinci’s design. Compare it with the sofa cushions before using the ottoman as the main foot support.
Da Vinci is a large, low square ottoman designed around continuous deep buttoning over the entire visible body. Its broad surface and reduced height create a more architectural presence than a compact footstool and make it suitable as a central ottoman in generous seating areas.
Producing the button pattern across such a large surface requires careful alignment and tension. The model can be evaluated in custom dimensions while keeping the tufting proportionally balanced.
