The Chesterino bed adapts the Chesterfield’s buttoned upholstery to a more compact headboard. It is useful when the bedroom calls for traditional texture but a large winged or heavily rolled design would dominate the wall.
Design, proportions and details
The mattress size and the headboard outline remain separate measurements. Check the thickness and width of the upholstered upper section alongside the padded base, particularly when replacing a bed within an established furniture layout.
The base can be specified with different practical arrangements. A storage version uses a lifting slatted platform above a finished compartment, while a non-storage construction changes what sits beneath the mattress without removing the headboard’s buttoned character.
The compact headboard still needs to be checked with the finished mattress height, which determines how much of the buttoned design remains visible above the bedding.
Chesterino keeps the deep-buttoned Chesterfield character but reduces the headboard thickness compared with the larger Chesterfield Bed. This makes the profile easier to place where depth is limited without removing the traditional upholstery detail.
Compared with the larger Chesterfield bed, the headboard is 4 cm slimmer in the product specification while retaining the same overall headboard height.
