With the velvet version, we wanted to give even more elegance and sophistication to this sofa from the VAMA Divani catalog. We are used to seeing the chesterfield in real leather, but this velvet realization further embellishes a sofa that needs little introduction, as it is considered the most famous sofa in the world.
Velvet, an upholstery in vogue for Chesterfield sofas
Real leather Chesterfield sofas are now commonplace, especially since they are not removable models, so the practicality of the upholstery influences the choice.
For the past few years, however, the quintessential noble upholstery has been making a comeback: cotton velvet, a very delicate upholstery that is difficult to clean but has a wonderful feel. This is precisely why many furniture fabric companies have set out to find the right compromise between practicality and beauty. It took only a few years for an elegant upholstery, soft to the touch but above all robust to last, to come to light: synthetic velvet.
Brass studs: a shining detail
