Chesterina is the smaller companion to the Chesterino sofa. Its low back, rolled arms and compact seat preserve the proportions of a club chair, while the narrower footprint makes it easier to place beside a window, in a bedroom or opposite a small settee.
Design, proportions and details
At 90 cm wide and 77 cm deep, it occupies less floor space than the standard VAMA Chesterfield armchair. Allow space beside the arm rolls as well as in front of the seat, particularly when positioning it between existing furniture or alongside a doorway.
The buttoned upholstery is shaped around a solid-wood structure. Each fold contributes to the diamond pattern across the back and arms; the separate seat cushion gives the sitting area a smoother surface than the surrounding tufting.
The compact frame does not turn Chesterina into a narrow dining chair: it remains a rolled-arm lounge seat. Place it with enough space for the curved sides to be seen rather than pressing the arms between surrounding furniture.
