Design, proportions and details
The headboard has an 8 cm profile. Add that thickness to the selected sleeping length and padded-frame allowance when planning the complete bed, rather than treating the mattress measurement as the outside footprint.
The buttoned upper section and the base can be specified separately. A fixed base uses a different internal construction from a storage version, where a lifting slatted top gives access to a finished compartment beneath the mattress.
Aswan’s buttoning changes how a plain material appears through light and shadow. A leather or fabric sample establishes the covering, but the padded recesses create the final pattern across the headboard. For a storage version, confirm the steel-and-beech slatted platform, compatible lift and base height together with the mattress. The upholstery profile around the rails adds to the sleeping dimensions, so ask for the complete outside size before fitting the bed between existing furniture.
Aswan centres the design on a high headboard with deep button tufting across the entire visible surface. The continuous upholstered pattern makes it suitable for contemporary rooms that still want the visual depth of traditional button work.
