The rolled footboard adds to the total length and changes access around the mattress. Check the complete outside footprint and the passage at the foot of the bed, especially in a room where a wardrobe stands opposite it.
The headboard, footboard and rails should be treated as one upholstered composition. Any compatible base or storage arrangement must work within those proportions, with the mechanism and mattress assessed separately from the decorative covering.
