Zen emphasises a low, horizontal bed profile. Its broad upholstered headboard extends the visual line beyond the sleeping platform, giving the room a different balance from a tall, narrowly framed bed.
Design, proportions and details
The standard low rail is 15 cm high with 1 cm feet; a storage construction requires a taller 30 cm base. These are different proportions, so the low platform shown should not be assumed to remain identical when storage is selected.
The headboard is 105 cm high and has a width allowance of 52 cm beyond the frame. Check that full span against bedside furniture, and use the complete padded footprint when planning circulation around the bed.
Zen’s standard low platform and taller storage base are visually different choices. A 30 cm storage rail cannot be treated as the same outline as the 15 cm low rail with 1 cm feet. Confirm the desired function before deciding the room layout, and check the mattress height with the 105 cm headboard so the amount of visible upholstery matches your intended proportions.
Zen is inspired by Japanese-style bedrooms and keeps the bed frame visually close to the floor. A button-tufted headboard introduces a more upholstered contemporary element without losing the low platform-bed character. Within our modern beds collection, this model targets a different headboard profile and room use from the other designs.
The low base is 15 cm high and rests on 1 cm glides so the upholstery does not touch the floor. A storage version is possible, but in that configuration the bed-frame height increases to 30 cm.
