Camelia combines the tall outline of a bergère with a softer upholstered treatment. The winged back creates an enclosing shape around the upper seat, while the chair remains visually connected to traditional sofas through its padded arms and fabric-covered body.
Design, proportions and details
The standard width is 85 cm. Compare its overall height and depth with the intended corner, and leave room beside the chair for a lamp or small table if it will be used as a reading seat.
The frame supports the shaped back and wings beneath the upholstery. A removable fabric-cover option can be discussed for the model, but the actual material and care method need to be confirmed together rather than inferred from another Camelia example.
A tall bergère should be assessed at seat level as well as by its high back. The wings frame the upper upholstery, while the cushion depth and height determine a different part of the sitting arrangement, especially when a footstool is added.
