This Chesterfield combines a conventional sofa seat with a chaise section. The extended side changes the way the room can be used, offering a longer upholstered area while retaining the rolled arms and buttoned character of the collection.
Design, proportions and details
The standard arrangement is 265 x 180 cm, with a 90 cm sofa depth. The photographed 250 x 200 cm project uses different proportions, so compare a drawing of your intended layout rather than measuring the example visually.
The chaise side determines access to the sitting area and the position of the coffee table. A timber structure supports the padded form, with hand-worked buttoning around the upholstered frame; both side lengths should be agreed as part of the same plan.
The chaise return changes the clear space inside the seating area. Leave an approach to the sofa that does not require stepping around the extended cushion.
